AIG Travel Insurance Login | Make a Payment

AIG travel insurance policyholders can access their policy online via the Travel Guard website. Users can both view and update their policy 24/7. If you need assistance with your online account or have questions about your policy, call the customer service line at 1-800-826-4919 (international callers need to dial 1-715-345-0505). The how-to guides below demonstrate how to view your policy, make policy changes/payments, as well as how to report a claim online.

How to Log In

Step 1 – Start by going to the homepage (

Step 2 – Move your mouse over the ‘Customer Service’ link. A drop-down menu will load.

Step 3 – Click the ‘View Policy’ link.


Step 4 – Enter your policy number, last name, and current email address. Click the ‘Retrieve’ button. A link to your policy information will be sent to the specified email address.


Make Changes to Your Policy 

Step 1 – On the homepage, move your mouse over the customer service link.

Step 2 – Click the ‘Modify Policy’ link.


Step 3 – Enter the following information into the first section of the form:

Step 4 – Select which type of modification you want to make to your policy by checking the blank box next to one of the available options. You can change travel dates, destination, spelling of names, trip expenses, mailing addresses, beneficiary information, and trip operator details (cruise/airline details). Click ‘Submit’ at the bottom of the form to submit your changes. Policy changes will typically take 48 hours (Monday through Friday) to take effect.

Note: To make a new payment on your policy, check the ‘Apply New Payment’ box and enter your payment details (amount, card/bank numbers, etc.).


Make a Claim

Step 1 – Go to the AIG travel claims site ( and click the ‘Log In’ link to access your account and begin the online claims process.
