Anthem health insurance policyholders can manage their policies online 24 hours a day. You can make payments, review and update your policy details, find a doctor, refill a prescription, and check on claims. To use the service, you have to register. Below is a guide on how to register, log in, make payments and file claims. If you need help with accessing or creating your account, you can call the Member Services number on your ID card.
How to Log In
Step 1 – Go to the website by clicking on the “Login” link at the top of this page.
Step 2 – Locate the login form on the right hand side of the screen. Enter your username and password, and then click “Log In” to access your account.
Forgot Username or Password – You can retrieve your username or reset your password by clicking on the “forgot username or password” link at the bottom of the login form. You will be redirected to another page where you will be required to enter your personal information including your email address, name and date of birth. You will also be required to answer a few security questions to verify your identity.
Enroll in Online Access
Step 1 – Go to the homepage. Locate the login form and click on the “Register” link appearing just below it as shown below.
Step 2 – On the next page, you will be required to enter your ID number from your Anthem card, name and date of birth. Click “Continue” to proceed.
Step 3 – In the next 2 steps, you will be able to set up your password and username and come up with a few security questions. Make sure to provide any other information required to set up your account.
Make a Claim
You can file a claim through your agent. Alternatively, you can log into your Anthem account, go to Customer Support, and then click on Forms Library. Download and fill the form as required and submit it. You can follow up on your claim by logging into your account.
