Asurion Insurance policyholders can manage their protected products online by creating an account/registering their products on the Asurion website. Benefits of managing products online include the ability to view/update product information, view specific plan details/coverages, etc. Customers can also file and track claims online. The instructions below detail how to report a new claim using Asurion’s online reporting/tracking tool. How to Report a Claim Step 1 – Start by going to the homepage (either click here, enter https://www.asurion.com/ into your web browser’s URL bar, or click the login link at the top of this page). Step 2 – Once on the homepage, click the “File or Track a Claim” link at the top of the page (as outlined below). Step 3 – Select the type of product (mobile phone, tablet, TV, computer) that you want to file/track a claim for. Step 4 – After selecting the product type, select where you bought the device from. After confirming your decision, press the “Okay take me there” link. Step 5 – Depending on where you bought your product from, you will be taken to a new screen where you will be able to report or track your claim. Note: Some devices/products will require that you file a claim on the manufacturer’s/store’s internal claims processing site. Claims for other products will be reported within the Asurion website.
