Cigna Dental Insurance Reviews

Current medical insurance policyholders can easily add a Cigna dental insurance coverage to their individual/family plan. If you are not a current policyholder, but still interested in purchasing dental coverage, standalone policies are also available. Dental plans are available to residents in 49 states (as well as the District of Columbia) throughout the U.S. (Washington state residents are not eligible for dental coverage at this time). There are three main plans available: ‘Dental Preventive,’ ‘Dental 1000,’ and ‘Dental 1500.’ The ‘1500’ plan is the most comprehensive option currently available, and starts at $30 per month (per person). How to Get a Quote Step 1 – Go to the main dental policy page by pressing the ‘Quote’ button at the top of this page. Note: You can also click the ‘Get a Quote’ link on the homepage, or call 1-855-340-9388 to get a custom rate quote with a licensed agent over the phone (available from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM – Monday through Friday). Step 2 – Once on the main dental page, click the ‘Apply Now’ link as outlined below. You will be transferred to the online quote tool/submission form. Step 3 – Enter your ZIP/postal code, desired coverage start date, first name, last name, phone number, and email address. In the second section of the form, enter the first/last names, date of birth, gender, and policy type (medical or dental) and then click ‘Find the Plans’ to view custom rate details. Note: You can add additional children/individuals to your quote by pressing the ‘+ Add Child’ button near the bottom of the form. After submitting these details, you will be presented with available plans/policy options. 

Check and update your Cigna dental insurance coverage, account balance, claims statuses, account information, as well as make payments 24/7 by logging in to your ‘myCigna’ account. Policyholders who are not currently enrolled in online access can register a new account within minutes (see the ‘Enroll in Online Access’ section below for specific details). Cigna also provides a mobile app that policyholders can use via their iOS/Android smartphones (use the links at the top of this page to download the official app to your mobile device). How to Log In Step 1 – Start by going to the homepage (www.cigna.com). Note: You can also click the ‘Login’ button at the top of the page to load the main sign-in page in a new tab/window). Step 2 – Press the ‘Login to myCigna’ link near the top of the page (as outlined below). The main sign-in page will load in a new tab. Step 3 – Enter your user ID and password, and then click the ‘Login’ button to access your account. Forgot Password – If you cannot recall your account password, press the ‘Forgot Password’ link on the sign-in page. You will be taken to the password reset page. Enter your user ID and press ‘Next.’ Verify your identity by answering the security question. After you have successfully verified your identity, you will be allowed to create a new password for your account. Enroll in Online Access Step 1 – Go to the main sign-in page, and click the ‘Register Now’ link. The four-step registration form will load. Step 2 – In the first section enter your first name, last name, date of birth, address, city, state, and ZIP code. Note: Click ‘Next’ at the bottom of each step to move on to the next section.  Step 3 – Confirm your identity by providing specific policy/personal information. In the remaining steps, you will create your user ID/password/security verification credentials, and then review/submit your registration.
