There are also three other ways you can make a payment including by phone (1.866.GAINSCO – check/debit/credit card), in-person at your agent’s office (cash, card, or check), or through standard mail. How to Make a Payment
Step 1 – Make an online payment by going to the payments page (link opens in a new tab/window) and then clicking the “Pay Online” link/button.
Step 2 – Fill in your policy number/ZIP code and then complete the captcha. Press the continue button to load the next section.
Step 3 – After you have located your policy you will be able to enter your payment details (method, amount, date, etc.).
File a Claim
Step 1 – If you need to report an accident you must call 1.866.GAINSCO (available Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM).
Note: The customer service line is available in both English and Spanish.
Step 2 – Have the following information ready when reporting your accident:
- policy number
- agent’s name
- date of accident
- location
- vehicle details
- witness/other party details
