National General Auto Insurance Login | Make a Payment

Make payments towards your National General auto insurance policy 24/7 online via the website. Policyholders can also manage their policy (view details, request changes, print/download information) from the website as well. Learn how to access your account, register a new policy, use the mobile website, and file a claim in the guides posted below.

How to Log In

Step 1 – The first step to accessing your account is to go to the homepage (www.nationalgeneral.com – or click the button at the top of this page).

Step 2 – Once on the homepage, you will see a login form on the left side of the page.

Step 3 – Enter your policy number into the input field and then click the ‘Login’ button.

Step 4 – Provide your account credentials (user ID and password).

Enroll in Online Access

Step 1 – In order to register a new account, you need to enter your policy number into the input field on the homepage.

Step 2 – After pressing the ‘Login’ button, you will be redirected to the main sign-in/enrollment page. Follow the on-screen instructions to register your account.

Mobile Login

Step 1 – The mobile site is located at the same URL as the main one (nationalgeneral.com).

Step 2 – Enter your policy number into the field that’s outlined in the image below to access your policy.

Make a Claim

Step 1 – On the homepage, press the ‘Report a Claim’ link. You will be transferred to the claim submission form.

Note: You can also download the mobile claims app (only for iOS devices – download links at the top of this page), and file a claim from your smartphone. Or call 1-800-325-1088 to report a claim over the phone.

Step 2 – Enter the following details into the appropriate input fields within the form:

  • policy number
  • full name of person reporting the claim
  • select claimant, insured, agent, or other
  • email address
  • full name of policyholder
  • full address of policyholder
  • main contact number of policyholder
  • date/time of incident
  • full street address of incident
  • a description of the incident
  • assessment of property/vehicle damage

Step 3 – Provide any additional (and pertinent) comments into the ‘Additional Comments’ field, and then click the ‘Submit’ button when you are ready to submit your claim for processing

Note: Processing time varies, but a licensed representative will contact you within 1-2 business days after your claim has been submitted.
