Progressive Auto Insurance Login | Make a Payment

Progressive auto insurance payments can be made online via the website, and over the phone (1-800-876-5581, or if you are a California resident dial 1-800-300-3693). Bills can be paid via standard mail as well (send to: PO Box 894107, Los Angeles, CA 90189-4107). Follow the instructions below to sign in to your account, enroll in online access, pay your bill without logging in, or make an auto claim online.

How to Login

Step 1 – Go to the homepage. Click the ‘Login’ button in the upper right corner of the page. You will be transferred to the secure sign in form.

Step 2 – Enter your user ID and password into the form on the left. Press the ‘Login’ button.

Forgot Password – On the login page, click the ‘Forgot User ID or Password’ link. You will be transferred to the password reset page. Enter your email into the input field and then click the ‘Continue’ button to initiate the reset process.

Note: Press ‘Recover your password without email’ if you do not know the email address you used to register your account.

Enroll in Online Access

Step 1 – The first step is to register your policy. Click the ‘Register Your Policy’ link on the login form (as seen below).

Step 2 – On the next page, select between entering your driver’s license number, or your policy number. Enter the number into the input field under the option that you selected, and then press the ‘Continue’ button.

Note: Call 1-800-776-4737 to speak with a member services representative if you do not have this information available.

Non-login Payment

Step 1 – Policyholders do not have to sign in to their account in order to pay their bill. On the homepage, click the ‘Make a Payment’ link (outlined below).

Step 2 – Enter your policy number, ZIP code, and DOB. Press ‘Continue’ and follow the on-screen instructions to make your payment.

Make a Claim

Step 1 – Go to the ‘Claims Center’ webpage here.

Step 2 – Click the ‘Log In’ button.

Step 3 – Sign in to your account in order to begin the claims process. You will be asked a series of questions regarding your claim, and then a claims representative will contact you to finish your claim. A general overview of the process can be viewed on this page.
