State Farm Auto Insurance Login | Make a Payment


You can manage your State Farm auto insurance policy 24/7 on the website. Online payments can be made via credit/debit card, your checking or savings account (electronic funds transfer), as well as Apple pay (iOS8 and above). Payments can also be made over the phone (1-800-440-0998), in-person (go to this page to search for your local agent), or through standard mail.

How to Login

Step 1 – Beginning on the homepage, enter your user ID and password into the login form located in the upper-right corner of the page.

Step 2 – From the drop-down list, select what you want to do once you are logged in (pay your bill, view account information, report a claim, view your ID card, or change account preferences).

Step 3 – Press the ‘Log In’ button to access your account.

Forgot Password – Press the ‘Password’ link on the login form to begin the recovery/reset process. If you do not know your username, click the ‘Your ID’ link. The password reset process is three steps long. Enter your user ID and DOB, and click the ‘Continue’ button. On the next page you will verify your identity (for security purposes), and then be transferred to the password reset form.

Enroll in Online Access

Step 1 – Go to the account registration page on this page. The registration process is comprised of three steps (1. Customer Information 2. User ID and Password 3. Verify Your Identity). On the first page enter your first/last name, date of birth, address information (street, city, ZIP, state), and email address.

Step 2 – Press the ‘Continue’ button and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the account creation process.

Make a Claim

Step 1 – On the claims page, select ‘Auto’ from the form on the right side of the page and then click the ‘Go’ button.

Note: Claims can also be reported via the mobile app.

Step 2 – On the next page, enter your login details into the form outlined below. After you have reported your claim, a local agent will contact you.

Note: If you are not a policyholder and want to report a claim, you must call 1-800-782-8332.
