Policyholders in both Texas and Florida can access their Windhaven auto insurance policy online 24/7 by logging in to their account. Benefits of having an online account include the ability to make payments, view/update policy details, as well as print out important policy documents (ID cards, billing statements, etc.). The claims process is initiated one of two ways; either via the mobile app (use the download links at the top of the page to install the app on your iPhone/Android smartphone), or by calling 1-866-595-4080. Using the mobile app to report a claim results in a much quicker processing time.
How to Log In
Step 1 – Start by going to the homepage (www.windhaveninsurance.com).
Note: Press the ‘Login’ button near the top of the page to load the homepage in a new browser tab.
Step 2 – At the top of the homepage, press the ‘Policyholder Log-In’ link.
Step 3 – In the drop-down form that loads, select your state of residence.
Step 4 – Enter your policy number and password, and then click ‘Secure Log In’ to access your account.
Forgot Password – On the main sign-in page, click the ‘Forgot Password’ link located directly below the login form. You will be taken to the three-step password reset form. In the first section, enter your policy number, date of birth, and email address. Click ‘Submit.’ Answer your account’s security question to load the final step of the reset process. After creating your new password, you will be able to sign in to your account.
Enroll in Online Access
Step 1 – On the homepage, scroll down until you see the ‘Create an Account’ button. After clicking this link, select your state of residence. You will be taken to the account creation page.
Step 2 – Enter your policy number, date of birth, and ZIP code. Hit the ‘Submit’ button. In the next section you will create your username, password, and security verification credentials.
Make a Claim
Step 1 – The fastest way to submit a claim is by using the mobile app (download links at the top of this page). However you can also call 1-866-595-4080 to report your claim over the phone. The claims telephone line is open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, seven days per week. You should have the following information on-hand before reporting your claim:
- Accident date/time/location
- Vehicle details
- Information of other people/vehicles involved in accident
- Police report number/department information (if applicable)
- Policy number
