American Modern Home Insurance Login | Make a Payment

Manage your American Modern home insurance policy 24/7 by registering for online access. Benefits of creating an account include having access to policy/billing documents, online bill pay, and the ability to quickly update personal account details (address information, contact numbers, etc.). Policyholders can also manage their accounts via the mobile app (use the links at the top of the page to download the app to your iOS/Android smartphone or device). Claims can be reported online, over the phone, or through postal mail. Use the guides below to learn how to sign in, register a new account, and file a claim online.

How to Get a Quote

Step 1 – Go to the account management page by right-clicking the ‘Login’ button at the top of this page, and then pressing ‘load link in a new window/tab.’ (The AMIG account management page will then load in a new tab).

Step 2 – Press one of the ‘Login’ links as outlined in the screenshot below. You will be transferred to the main account access page.


Step 3 – Enter your user ID and password into the input fields, and then click the ‘Log In’ button.


Forgot Password – On the main account access page, enter your user ID and then click the ‘Forgot Your Password?’ link (users are required to enter their username before resetting their password). If you do not know your user ID, click the ‘Forgot Your User ID?’ link. Enter your account email address, and hit ‘Retrieve Login.’ Your user ID will be sent to the email address associated with your account.

Enroll in Online Access

Step 1 – On the account management page, scroll down and click the ‘Sign Up For Online Services’ button. The account creation page will load in a separate tab/window.


Step 2 – Enter the following details into the form:

  • Last name
  • Policy number
  • ZIP code
  • First name
  • Last name
  • User ID
  • Password
  • Email address
  • Mobile phone number

Step 3 – Agree to the Terms of Service, and then click ‘Confirm Opt-In.’


Make a Claim

Property claims can be reported online, over the phone, and through postal mail. To report a claim over the phone, call 1(800)-375-2075. Follow the guide below to learn how to file a claim online.

Step 1 – Go to the main claims page here.

Step 2 – Click the ‘File Online Now’ link on the right side of the page.


Step 3 – Enter the following information into the form:

  • Policy number
  • Policy type
  • Name
  • Address details
  • City
  • State
  • ZIP
  • Phone number
  • Best time to call
  • Email address
  • Loss date
  • Time of loss
  • City of loss
  • State of loss
  • ZIP of loss
  • Description of what happened
  • Number of rooms damaged
  • Number of items damaged
  • Number of people who live in the home
  • Number of pets that live in the home
  • Number of disabled residents
  • Whether or not you need temporary housing
  • Images


Step 4 – Review the information that you entered for accuracy, and then click the ‘Start Claim’ button to submit your claim for processing.
