American Modern home insurance policies are classified into three main subsections: manufactured home, standard dwelling, and vacant property/vacation rental. Although the company specializes in writing policies for manufactured/mobile homes, normal homes can also be insured (only if the homeowner cannot obtain insurance through another private insurer due to location, past claims, etc.). Free quotes are available for all of American Modern’s insurance products, and can be obtained either via telephone (1-866-880-8651), or by requesting a quote using the form on the website (a detailed overview of this option is described below).
How to Get a Quote
Step 1 – Start by going to the American Modern homepage (www.amig.com).
Step 2 – Scroll down, and click one of the links under the ‘Shopping for insurance?’ section.

Step 3 – On the next page, click the ‘Get a Quote’ link, and then click the ‘Fill out a quote form’ link that appears in the drop-down list.
Step 4 – If prompted to, select your state of residence, and then hit ‘Submit.’ The quote request form will load.
Step 5 – Enter the following details into the form:

Step 6 – After reviewing all of the details that you entered, click the ‘Submit’ button to finish the request process. You will be contacted within one business day by an agent who will go over what policies you qualify for/coverage options.
