How to Get a Quote
Step 1 – Start by going to the homepage (either click the ‘Quote’ link at the top of this page, or enter www.mercuryinsurance.com into your web browser).
Step 2 – Once on the homepage, there are several ways to begin. Enter your ZIP/postal code into the input field, and then click the buttons as outlined in the screenshot below.
Note: If you want to visit an agent in person, use the ‘Find an Agent’ form on the homepage to locate an office near you.
Step 3 – You will be transferred to the five-step rate estimation form. In the first section you must provide various policyholder details. Enter your full name, date of birth, phone number, email address, street address, city, and postal/ZIP code. Press ‘Agree & Continue’ at the bottom of the page to move on to the next section.
Note: On the left side of the page you can view your ID number, which can be used to access your quote at a later time.
Step 4 – The second section of the form is ‘Vehicles.’ Enter your vehicle’s details (year, make, model, etc.). After this section, you will be prompted to provide driver information and other various details. When all of the information sections have been completed (steps one through four), you will be presented with your customized auto quote. There will be an option to purchase the policy online/over the phone.
Note: Certain personal information, such as driving/claims history may be pulled during the application process (in order to provide an accurate rate).
