Although the majority of VSP vision care plans are intended to be purchased as supplemental policies through an individual’s employee health care plan, individual and family policies are available in certain states (to qualifying applicants). How to Get a Quote
Step 1 – To receive a free quote for an individual/family policy, go to the individual & family site (www.vspdirect.com).
Note: You can click the ‘Quote’ button at the top of this page to load the site.
Step 2 – Enter your ZIP code into the form as outlined below, and then click the ‘See Plans’ button. The search results page will load.
Step 3 – Scroll down the page to view the different plans that are available for you to purchase. Click on some of the links that are outlined in the screenshot below (e.g. ‘Overview’ ‘Exams’ ‘Glasses’ or ‘Compare Plans’) to view detailed policy information/comparisons.
Step 4 – Click the ‘Select Plan’ link to go to the application page. Enter the following details into the application form:
- Email address
- Phone number
- First name
- Last name
- Date of birth
- Gender
- Marital status
- Ethnicity
- Street address
- City
Step 5 – After reviewing your information, click the ‘Next Step’ button. Review your plan and application, and then enter your payment details. In the last step you will confirm your purchase.
